The Black Butte Ranch Police Department is now accepting applications to fill one full-time police officer position. We are interested in candidates who are  entry level candidiates, certified lateral police officers, or those officers who recently retired in good standing.

Full-time officer benefits:

 Salary Range $73,776.81 to $86,735.99 during first year.

• Additional incentives for officers serving as a Field Training Officer, Public Information Officer, and  longevity steps starting at 5 years of sevice with BBRPD.

• Department funded individual HRA accounts in the amount of $24,300/yr that may be used by the employee to purchase health insurance or save for the future
• Both employer and employee contributions to the Oregon PERS retirement system are paid for the Department
• $150,000 Life insurance per person
• Long-term disability insurance
• Annual Paid Time Off benefit between 176 – 272hrs per year based on experience
• 96hrs of sick time per year
• Employees who are required to work on one of nine specified holidays are paid at time and a half (1.5)rate
• Department purchased uniforms plus additional annual benefits for the purchase of duty boots, flashlights, and other equipment.
