Officer Jon Fetherolf

Officer Jon Fetherolf joined the Black Butte Ranch Police Department in December 2024, bringing a distinguished background in public service and tactical expertise to the agency. A lateral transfer from the City of Bend Police Department, Officer Fetherolf began his dedicated career in law enforcement in 2023.

His journey in service began in his home state of Ohio, where he studied Criminal Justice at Hocking College before enlisting in the United States Marine Corps. During his military service, he earned the rank of Sergeant and received an honorable discharge, experiences that instilled in him a deep sense of discipline and leadership.

Following his military service, Officer Fetherolf relocated to Central Oregon to attend Central Oregon Community College. He graduated from the Aviation Professional Pilot Helicopter program and subsequently flew for the Croman Corporation, where he conducted critical aerial firefighting operations across the United States.

Now focused on his lifelong passion for law enforcement, Officer Fetherolf is committed to the safety and well-being of the Black Butte Ranch community. He looks forward to continuing his professional development while providing high-quality service to the residents and visitors of the Ranch.
