The Black Butte Ranch Police Department's Ride-Along program provides an opportunity for citizens to exsperience the law enforcment function first hand. The Program is offered to residents of Black Butte Ranch and surrounding communities, students, friends and family members of Black Butte Ranch Police Officers, and those employed within the Police Service District. Ride-alongs are available on most days of the week subject to staffing limitations.

Ride-alongs may be requested by email, telephone, or through one of the contact forms on this website.

Before being approved for a ride-along, the participant must complete the Ride-Along Application, sign the Release and Hold Harmless Agreement, and a copy of the Ride-Along Program Rules. If the participant is under 18-years of age, a parent/guardian must be present to complete the Ride-Along Form.
