The Black Butte Ranch Police Department is facilitating our homeowners’ participation in the annual “Spirit of Christmas Giving Tree” program to provide Christmas gifts to families in need in Sisters Country this holiday season.  The program is sponsored by the Sisters-Camp Sherman Rural Fire Protection District who expects to serve close to 200 children this year.

To donate to the Spirit of Christmas Program, please collect one or more tags with items requested by the families in the Postal Services area of the Admin Building. Then purchase a new gift listed on the tag, deliver the unwrapped gifts with the tag to the BBR Police Department as soon as possible.

Tags will be available to collect beginning Wednesday, November 26th.  The deadline to return your gift donation to the Fire Station is Wednesday, December 10th at 3pm when they will be delivered to the Sisters Fire Department.

For those folks that would like to participate in the program, but are unable to purchase a specific gift, the Police Department will also accept donations either in person or via Postal Services in box 8244.  Donations are tax deductible and will go toward gift buying. 

Families will pick up their donated gifts via a drive-through event on Saturday, December 20th at the Sisters Fire Station.
